Sooooo…..these pictures were taken downtown Charleston by MYSELF…
It’s embarrassing enough taking pictures of yourself in a secluded area, or in your front yard with a couple neighbors driving by yelling “You takin’ pictures of your knees?!”
But to pull out a tripod where there’s people walking and driving by constantly?! I can just imagine them thinking..wow, this chick’s full of herself. But it’s all for the cause right? It’s worth it.
and of course I did this right before I was about to do makeup for a bridal party =D Ahh. When in Rome. (Anchorman..anybody?!)

1. These came out great! My husband can hardly get me to let him take my pictures when other people are around, let alone by myself. Go girl! 2. I love the simplicity of the look, but it's definitely something I would replicate. 3. I'm not surprised your makeup looks amazing, but I am loving the neutral colors.

Before I read that you took these pictures yourself, I was going to comment that these photos look excellent! I know the awkwardness of taking photos in your neighborhood. Thanks Heather! Oh boy, my husband was getting tired of me asking him lol The last post I did (static + leopard print) was taken by him, but I could tell that would be the last time he'd want to do it! I guess I'd rather feel awkward taking pictures of myself then asking someone else to do it, right? And I'm so glad you like the outfit and makeup! Planning to do a 5 minute face tutorial soon!
Thank you Marsh! Isn't it so awkward?! But I tell you what..I get done a lot quicker 1. with the stress of everyone staring and 2. doing it myself as opposed to asking someone else to do it! And thank you about the hair! It's taken my mom and husband awhile to get used to, but if you guys say it looks good then I'm keeping it!! 🙂

Thank you Dakota! Do it!! You can always change the color and the hair will always grow back 🙂 My mom was going to kill me after see saw the drastic change (without warning) lol But I haven't regretted it since!
lol Hopefully it will get easier with time since it way actually way better taking them myself than having someone else do it! And the stress of people looking made me hurry up and get the shots I needed!
Thank you Tiffany! I know! How could we do this without them?! What I did with this shoot was keep my tripod the same height at all times and then just moved my camera up and down..I don't know if that helps you at all or if you've already been doing it that way, but I use to move my tripod up and down for the different shot and it was a pain!! (and time consuming)
