I’m counting down the days to Summer!! I’m such a homebody and the best time spent for me is relaxing. It can be any form of relaxation, be it: reading, getting a pedicure, watching a movie, sleeping, laying by the pool, traveling, drinking a class of wine…doesn’t matter! As long as I’m relaxing, I’m enjoying the most out of my life.
That being said, we are currently turning the weed invested area below our deck into our new oasis! I never thought we’d use or store anything under there, but we’ve decided to clean it out and put in an extra patio! Here’s a couple before/progress pics and what we plan to do..
Before and Process //
Right now, we’ve shoveled out all the weeds, leveled out the ground, installed dividers, put in weed blocker and now laying the gravel (which will take a few trips doing!) I decided that I wanted to put in a paver walkway inside/around the area so it looked a little fancier.
Next on our list //
Add pavers
Buy + install below-deck ceiling
” ” ceiling fan
Bring down all the patio stuff from upstairs!! (see pic from my instagram)
Install hanging chair
Add new rug (should I use this one or this one by couch?)
..Drink margaritas!!!
