When I received an inquiry to try out products from Colleen Rothschild’s skincare line, I had no idea how much my skin would change for the better!
We’re all getting older and sometimes we all forget to take care of our skin (I know at least I have!). Initially, when I started using these products, I hadn’t thought about the results they’d give or what they would do for my skin. I was more so wanting to improve my regimen; pamper my skin and give it all the necessities it had been lacking in the past. I was surprised to see a huge difference in my skin! Now I actually looked forward to taking my makeup off at night and doing morning and night routines.
I have to use an exfoliator on my face at least once a week! I really loved how gentle, yet effective, this product was. I use it after cleansing my skin and before using any serums or moisturizer. This is such an important step, as your treatments won’t be as effective while you have a build-up of dead skin that needs to be removed. I also loved how great this product smelled!
I’ve always heard great things about retinol treatments. They seem to work the best at reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and that’s exactly what this product did! Even though moisturizing and drinking plenty of water helps prevent my skin from aging, there still are a few areas that need extra help (ex: my baby crows feet around my eyes and a small smile line on my right side). I love applying this morning and night and the slight tingly feeling I get after application!
This was my absolute favorite product I tried! The first time I touched the product, it had an odd “cottage cheese” consistency, but after appyling it to my face and neck it felt like silk!! And what I loved even more about it was that it didn’t quickly absorb into my skin, so I was left with hours of silky-smooth skin.
This is the last step I take in my skincare regimen. I gently massaged the cream onto my face, neck, declatouge and hands (a lot of people forget to use the same products on their hands and neck, but those areas can be the first to show your age!)
