makeup essentials for summer
Being a professional makeup artist, I’ve done a variety of makeup looks on myself and others. I’ve always had trouble with one in particular..the “natural” look. Personally, I like it all or nothing. I just don’t see the point of barely putting on makeup. But this Summer, I wanted to give it a try! Plus, I think I’m getting to that age where I need a little bit of something everyday (or at least when I go out!) I would go to the store in gym attire so people would assume I just looked rough from working out haha
Here are my makeup essentials for Summer..
Face // I just ordered the Nars Pure Radiant tinted moisturizer in Groenland and I’m already obsessed with it! I got a sample of it and Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer awhile back and I was in love with the coverage! Laura’s was a little too light for me and just made my skin oily and dirty after awhile.
Lips // This lip gloss is one of my absolute favorites!! What I love most about it is it literally looks like you have a layer of glass on your lips-it’s that shiny! Very soft to wear and not at all sticky 🙂
Eyes // A smudge of light brown liner to slightly emphasize the eyes and a swipe of mascara – BOTH water proof!
Eyebrows // Why put in more work then you have to? Plus, this is supposed to be a natural look. Just comb through those bad boys and you’re good to go!
Cheeks (optional) // My favorite blush, Orgasm, and bronzer, Laguna for that all over sun kissed look.
