We’re back from our trip to Italy and I’m so excited to share all the photos with you guys! Sorry it’s taken so long. Trying to get back in the swing of things over here!
I wasn’t sure which ones to start with ( I took a lot!), but then I figured I would just start with our first destination: ROME!
First off, I just want to say, I love riding on planes. I love the experience, ESPECIALLY on a good flight and long ride 🙂
We were on the Delta Italia for an amazing 9 hours. I’m not sure how many wines we took back, but we were having a great time lol Even with the stewardess! We watched movies, owned the solitaire score board and the food was amazing! Not to mention, the comfort in the seats, touch screens and usb ports to charge our phones..A++ for Delta!
Piazza Navona
Pantheon- of course 😉
Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II
(back of Santa Maria Maggiore)
Piazza del Popolo
Our view of the Via del Babuino (high end boutiques) from the Spanish steps!
Is this not deVINE!?!? (lol, but really!)
Borgo Pio was our favorite road closest to our hotel. We got such a good vibe from it..beautiful, music playing in the streets and it had great restaurants!
Via Giulia was supposedly the most picturesque road, though I’d have to disagree..I did have a beautiful arch bridge with vines though! And I love vines 🙂
Piazza Trastevere was actually my favorite spot for day and night! Great restaurant spots, jazz bars (my fav) and the most picturesque little spot in Rome!
OH MY GOODNESS!!!
So much as changed, but it’s so good to finally see this place (and while it’s still standing). Apparently, the main road has so much traffic that the pollution is breaking away the Colosseum. Fashion designer Diego Della Valle, founder of Tod’s, donated 25 million Euros (that’s $33 million dollars!!) last year to fix it up which only covers the cost to clean it and fix cracks!!!!
Inside the Roman Forum.
Palatine Hill
Highly recommend a tour that includes seeing all 3!
And of course, our delicious breakfast in bed (REALLY missing that right now!)
More pitures to come of our trip, favorite restaurants and spots, and review of the hotels we stayed in!
Happy Friday everyone!
Amazing, amazing photos! Looks like a spectacular trip.

A trip down memory lane for me in the frame of your photos. Fabulous shots! Italy is so beautiful on many levels. It can be hard to settle back to normal life after great times globe trotting. Treasure the memories and thanks for sharing.
I went to Italy both this past summer and the summer before and these shots make me want to go again immediately! Everything is so familiar, and gorgeous. Looks like you had an amazing time.

It's been VERY hard settling back in! I wanted to go bank the minute we got home 🙁 Thank you so much and I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures!
Thanks Heidi! It was too short!
